The release tour of the second volume, The Wine Book of Romania, was a real success in all the country. The events took place, until now, in Arad, Sibiu, Cluj-Napoca, Târgu Mureş and Brașov. The book`s author, Marinela V. Ardelean, waited impatiently, with enthusiasm and a lot of emotions, to tell the story of The Wine Book of Romania, and also to offer signings.
Those from Arad were the first who enjoyed the presentation of the book. On May 14th and May 15th, they were able to take part in the events` book, which were organized at the “Unauthorized Wine Tastings Club” and at the City Hall of Arad. Emotions were on the table, but the joy was felt both by Marinela V. Ardelean and by the public.
After appreciation and encouragement in Arad, Sibiu followed, on May 23, where the host was “Lucian Blaga” University. The signing session was ticked in this city too, because the Wine Book of Romania‘s author took care and patience to write a few good thoughts to all those present at the event. Then came Cluj on the list of the tournament’s release. And here, the event took place in two days, in two different spaces. On May 25th, wine lovers could meet with Marinela V. Ardelean at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Haţieganu”. On May 26th, the event was organized in a wine dedicated area: “The Office Wine Bar”. Cluj was the perfect place in which the public found out valuable information about wine, quality, professionalism, passion and dedication. The author also talked about the work behind such a book, how to make a selection of high-quality wines, and what this second volume brings, The Wine Book of Romania.
Marinela V. Ardelean continued the book release tour in Târgu Mureş. On June 1, at the Privo Hotel, the present audience learned, right from the author of the book, all the secrets of wine and the details behind the second volume The Wine Book of Romania. The event ended with a wine tasting and a gastronomic experience offered by Marinela V. Ardelean and the sommelier Marius Danciu.
Brașov was the next city included in the tour release so far. On July 8, at Terroirs Brașov, Marinela V. Ardelean had a pleasant meeting with all wine lovers and told them about the second volume The Wine Book of Romania: “I chose nearly 300 wines to be found In this second volume and I have to say I am very happy with the evolution of quality, not just of the number of wines and cellars present in the book! “, confessed The Wine Book of Romania’s author to the public.
To make the second volume The Wine Book of Romania, Marinela V. Ardelean has visited for 3 months wine cellars in Romania and in the Republic of Moldova, tasted over 3,000 wines and selected up to five labels from each producer, and a jury made up of international experts evaluated the wines and classified them rigorously.
